Some nice fights last PM...thanks to all who made it fun!
But ran into a bizarre little event that made me wonder about some arena settings.
Was in zero, dove in on a friendly who was getting saddled by an A20. Had more E, so when they went vertical I couldnt stay with the curve. I picked an intercept angle and tried an under the nose snap shot as the pair went past me from below to above.
And about then, thought "hope I get this right, or I might get killshot!"
Well, as the friendly came up he was burning and the A20 looked grossly OK. I didnt get any damage, continued over the top, and dropped down behind the A20 to finishe him for an assist. We two A6Ms headed back, with his bird giving off a healthy, warm glow.
And this is where it got interesting, because a minute later when the friendly popped I got the kill message and credit.
Yes, i double checked and the friendly was on my side per roster. The name in the buffer was the name under the icon that was just next to me, and he upped from a friendly base right after.
So my question: did I actually get him burning with friendly fire? I couldnt have gotten the proxy, because he was axis too.
Weird things can happen, but I've never run into THIS in AH before. It could have been a fluke -- but just wanted to double check and make sure that an arena setting didnt get missed.

Killshooter is OFF. So it is possible that you hit the Zero with a bullet or two - or more. But after the A-20 went down, 1-2 hits would have been enough for you to get the kill (most damage done) even if it was the A-20 that lit the other Zero up.
