One side goes to my AC 400 cyberacustics headphones.

Other side goes to my KLH Stereo reciever, gets pumped out a couple of 2' tall speakers hanging in the corners.

When the wife/family are home, its the headset. When I'm alone, its crank up the stereo and rock the house!

Post by: eagl on March 26, 2006, 06:45:35 AM: Both my speakers and my soundcard are 5.1, but they're not compatible with each other so the end result is 4.1 surround except when watching DVDs. Eventually I'll buy new speakers and get real 5.1 again.

Headsets only for me... But I do have a nice Altec Lansing stereo/subwoof system that I use for offline... bombers sound sweet.

I use headsets to keep noise off of vox.

Okay, I DO havea 5.1 and also Altec Lansing speakers. But like Kurt I use the Plantronic headset to keep vox clear.

last night on 5.1 it worked all evenining without a single cut out .:D

That cartoon is funniest thing i've ever seen!

Okay, back to topic, still kindof of early to really tell, but it sounds like a little more than the majority have a 5.1 sound system on their computer, but, some still use headsets while playing aces high.
