After the last change in servers i have been havin some major issues. My ping stay around 16 for the past year. Nice and steady 16 but after our little run around it will stay at 16 then jump to 200+.. I dont get the boot but makes my flyn very hard. I can see the difference with my shots and mini warps all around the place. I read that if your connection was below 300 you were good. I can say that this is going to hurt my game play and make me loose my hair.... Virus scan and Microsoft spyware come up clean.

From the looks of it , the ping is high at the first hop , so its prolly a router , or modem issue . With the first IP being a 10.dot , im guessing you have a home network? You might try hooking directly to the modem (if your networked) and run some trace's , if not call your isp and have them check your modem's signal levels. GL 38

That sounds better i will get on that.

First hop is all over the place, which appears to be either your router or your computer.
Check for errant programs running in background. Maybe you inherited an IP address from some file-shaing user. Lots of things can cause it.

Skuzzy what would you do first? When i came to work i ran my Virus scan and spyware program. I am thinking its going to show no problem but we will see when i get home. What would you do next... My router has 5 cpu's i turned them all off and i was still having problems. Give me a list of thinks to do..
Thanks

Power cycle the router. Most of the consumer grade routers I have seen need a good power down periodically. I could only speculate as to why.
That may be all that is needed.
