Post by: ChopSaw on March 27, 2006, 04:32:22 PM
I'm trying to figure out how many people play this game that aren't on the two week trial.  Anybody got the info?

I think the best guess is between 4000 and 6000.

i think he is wondering if this is as popular as SOCOm 3 where on an average night you have 100,000 people on and at like 3am 10,000 people are on but of course this game is free.

Not really.  I don't think this game is much like that.  I'm just trying to get a feel for how large the AH community is.

Not sure......

I guess you could take a look at ranks in the MA one night and see how high they go up????  But even then it wouldnt give you the total picture.....

There's also a difference...SOCOM is not a MMOG and I'd like to see where you pull the 100,000+ numbers nightly.  Far more people play Half-Life and Half-Life 2 online than people play SOCOM 3.

MMOGs like Aces High are considered "niche" games as they tend to cater to a particular gamer and not the casual gamer.

Divide the cost of a RV-6 by $14.95, mulitply that figure by 6 and add in the cost of two cases of 12 year old Scotch...that's your number :aok
