I'm Taking a survey on how much Cable bills around the country are...Here in Ohio I have 75 channels and Road Runner Cable modem...$91.00 a month!! Whats Yours????
-
Got a deal for 71 channels for $20 a month for 12 months because I am a new subscriber. Once the 12 months is up, back to satellite I go
-
When I lived in Lake Park (Palm Beach County) Florida I was I think $110 for every channel there was plus high speed internet. Adelphia was the provider.
-
when i had cable it was regular / basic teir (MTV, History, Discovery and all that NO HBO or anything) and roadrunner.
$96 / month
Time Warner
NOT digital cable
-
my experience with adelphia is that they are teh evil!!!!!!
but, all you have to do is call and complain about the service and they hand out free months like they are water.
I have direcTV with Tivo and 4 recievers with the PLUS package and HBO/SHowtime and I pay roughly $78 a month. I'm not on cable but on DSL and with SBC I pay $55 a month for unlimited long distance and 3mps DSL
-
Dish network 180 channels and 4 TV's all on DVR's. I pay 75-80 a month.
-
Just switched from Dish Network to DirecTV. I liked Dish's set up better, but their customer service finally made me switch.
I have the Total Choice Premier and HD package (275 total channels) with 2 DVR's. $55 for the first 3 months then $109.
-
Digital cable, 2 regular boxes and one HDTV/DVR, plus Road Runner, $110 a month through Insight. I probably get 200 channels.
-
Time Warner, 4 receivers & DVRs, full premium pack, cable internet
Base pack - $48/mo (includes digital cable, on demand content, music, etc)
Premium pack - $30/mo (HBO, Showtime, Starz, Cinemax, TMC)
Sports pack - $3/mo (has a bunch, but I only watch Outdoors & Speed)
HDTV "plus" - $5/mo.
Digital tuner - $28/mo (4 of 'em)
DVR upgrade - $28/mo (4 of 'em. I blame Skuzzy. He was right.)
Cable Internet - $40/mo.
So, $182 monthly.
I feel violated.

$120, Comcrapst HDDVR x 2, high speed intardnet, sports package.
-
Extended Digital, 1-DVR, all the premium channels, "Cable Phone", Cable imternet just a little under 200 a month.
-
Basic Basic (locals + Discovery, Hallmark, E!, & AMC) and Intardnet for $54.90/mo - that includes a $10 combo discount for having two different cable products (the basic is 11.95/mo).
Switching to DSL 'cause they actually wanted to charge me $30 to move the basic cable AND $30 to move the Intardnet. They wouldn't even budge when I told 'em to cancel the service.
-
DirecTV for 6 years - $55/mo. has never gone up

I got rabbit ears & a communist neighbor who doesn't seem to care if everyone on the block uses his 512 mb/s.
$0
I pick up an over the air channel with Walker, Texas Ranger, but to be quite frank, I don't think it is very good. hope I didn't ruffle any feathers.

You haven't offended me, but Chuck is probably going to kill you.

See Rule #5, #2
-
TV licence ~20$/month with about 5 good and 5 crappy channels + MTV and few others.
Of course you can be one of those who don't have a TV...
Canal movie & sports channels + C More channels ~30$/month
8/1 Mb/s ADSL 50$/month
-
~180 channel Satellite TV @ 3,200 yen
100 Mbps (symmetrical) fiber internet @ 7,200 yen
Total: 10,400 yen/month = $90/month
Cost of living makes it feel like about $50 (dinner for 2).
-
No cable = $0
No high speed = $0
I teh win!
-
Digital cable here, no movie packages.
Sci-fi channel, Miltary channel, Nat Geo, etc.
62$ a month.
We just switched to Dish network top 120 package with single (dual) tuner.
No DVR or HD upgrades. All the channels we had before except
Military & Nat Geo channel. For the next 10 months its 35$ goes up to 45$ when the promotion ends.
That includes paying 5$ a month for local channels which Cable gets to add on for free. Cable one has applied 3 years in a row to raise rates for fargo. All 3 times denied. Yet 2 or 3 months later the bill goes up anyway. Probably raising fee's, etc (always a loophole someplace)
This is for Fargo North Dakota & Cable one.
-
BBC TV licence £126.50 a year or around £10.50 a month = USD $18/month.
-
See Rule #2, #5

Not in Concord,CA - where I used to live, and only 34 miles from Dixon. When I first moved there, I could only get one TV channel, with lousy reception, and it carried commercials.
I get five terrestrial TV channels now (BBC1 and BBC2 are commercial free), and for a one off payment for a set top box could get about 6 more channels, but the standard channels are fine for me.
-
At work we have a TV that is for DVD use but it has some rabbit ears.... It will get at least 3 regular channels plus a public channel (like bbc) plus about 3 UHF stations all for free if one wanted.

Thanksfor all your replies....I though I was getting the shaft but looks like I pay about the same as most give or take a few bucks!! Thanks Again!!!

I'll second that, and my TV bill is $150.23 every month. Includes all the channels excluding some of the sports channels which I don't care anything about.
