Title: need help with the shops pc

wqe have a piece o junk sony vio at work it only has a 10 gb hd but 512 ram p3 proc

everything seems to work ok but the dvd drive (we booted it back up with xp pr)

we need the dvd drive to read so we can use mitchell5 on the system it will read a cd audio though its and i hope i got this right a pioneer dvdron dvd-114r  anyone know if ive lost a driver or a codec or something any help would be apriciated thanks   tatertot

Should run under generic Windows CD drivers, if not, sounds like it may be dead, or at least dead enough not to work properly.

For example -
My dual layer DVD burner runs under Windows drivers.

thanks kev i unistalled and reinstalled and nothing ohwell easy come easy go i guess
