Title: SB Audigy 2 or Mobo AC'97 ?

New MOBO has 5.1 chanel audio. I have a SB Audigy2 card.

Is there any idea installing the sound card, or should I just use the one that is on MOBO ?

Before I think the integrated sound was slowing down the game, but how is it theese days?

quick answer is dont use the AC97 it uses the cpu.

Make sure you diable on board sound in bios also.

i have audigy2 zs and AC97 onboard. i tried a test with both and i lost
about half my fps when using the onboard sound.

Very clear that I need to disable internal sound card.
