Thanks for asking! My favorite subject! :)
He got picked up by a 10U Select team (AAA). 19 players tried out, and they were looking to pick up 3 additional players (3 left from last years team) He was fortunate enough to get selected.
He then tried out for one of the starting pitchers jobs, and he again was selected as a starting pitcher!
Now, we're shooting for opening day starter, but I don't think he'll get that opening day start since there is a kid on the team that throws like a 12 year old!
We don't have the schedule for the regular season games yet, there are 12 games. We do have the schedule for the Tournaments, and we're in 6 tournaments this year.
Should be fun! I'll be posting pics as we go along.
Mike Blowers hasn't had a chance to work with the kids yet, his wife usually drops his kid off at practice. He's been down in Tempe with the Mariners as he is a radio announcer now for KOMO news. I saw him one day at practice breifly, introduced myself. Small talk.
Are you stil into detailing?

Great to hear!
Yes, I'm thinking of switching from the Griot's Best Show Wax to their new Paint Sealant, since the 2004 Explorer is the Daily Driver. I'm also thinking of going to the Orbital. I love the results of the Best of Show, but am undecided if that Paint Sealant is worth it. The Wax lasts, maybe 3-4 months here in Michigan.

I used the Griots Paint Sealer on the wifes Mustang. Jury is still out though, because the PS is primarily made for paint with swirls (small scracthes) Its a filler, basically. I didn't notice any appreciable difference.
I switched to Klasse Acrylic AIO (All In One) last year. Its a paint sealer and acrylic wax, lasts about 6 months. I use it for all the vehicles and the boat (Klasse was originally a Marine-use product). My shoulders just can't handle doing full details every 3-4 months, so the Klasse product has cut my full details down to twice a year.
Good luck!
