Any word on when the new skin viewer will appear?

2.07 was FM fixes. No graphical changes.

Load the skin viewer, and if it doesn't show, up by the "Plane (resource)" hit "Browse" and select stdshape.res. That'll fix it.

EDIT: That seems to make the B17's skin invisible for some reason.

Krusty-

You're having much better luck with it than I am.  When I launch it, it just gives me a small window popping up that's pure white inside, and then stops responding.  Thus, I can't even get to the point where you point it at stdshapes.res.  Just happened when we went to 2.07.2.

BTW, there were a number of tweaks made to stdshapes.res in all the 2.07 patches.  It wasn't just FM changes.

Hrm... try re-downloading and installing the 2.06 viewer. I'm on a fresh install (just reformatted), so maybe that's part of it.

Jeep works in 2.06 skin viewer, B17 doesnt it seems.

Skin viewer (2.06) works fine for B17 and jeeps here.

My skin viewer title bar says "Version 2.06 Patch 1". Which do you have?

EDIT: HAH! FIgured it out. For some reason it wsn't just showing the interior.. it was blocking parts of the interior that the exterior would have blocked. So I went to the materials button, slid the "Alpha" slider down then back up and it displays just fine!

EDIT2: I closed it and re-opened it, and the B17 displays just fine now without having to move the alpha slider.

I've got the 2.06.1 skin viewer.  I've tried re-installing it to no avail.  It's the same as before--it just doesn't work at all.  When I launch it, I get a small, blank white window and that's it.  It just quits responding after that.  As noted, this only happened after the 2.07.2 patch came out.

AH2 itself gave me a similar problem when the 2.07.2 patch came out.  It did exactly the same thing.  However, I just ran the patch .exe file again and now AH2 works.  However, the skin viewer still doesn't.
