The Suprise Offensive that shocked the Allies, was quickly answered by the Enourmous might of Allied Airpower. The Axis & Allies exchanged Attacks, And both showed how well they could destroy the enemys Staging points. The Weather hardly slowed any of the opposing forces, And even allowed the interdiction of Axis Supply Columns.
The Axis allowed the Allied Supply Columns to slip into thier destroyed bases, and allowed the Allied Counter-Offensive to push through the German Lines. But with destroyed Vehicle Depots, The Allies had too do most of the fighting on foot. A daring River Crossing allowed the Allies to cross the Moselle, and capture some German Fields. But without Armor, there progress was slow.
The Luftwaffe made good use of the Ar234, but the losses incurred allowed the Allies to advance.

Am a little surprised by the score. In the area I was in they gave as good as they got.
On another note: At one point the side objectives were sent to all CO/XOs. I can live without them as it makes it more realistic just following the CiC's orders and not knowing the what/why unless he decides to tell us.
But the squad XO's need the CiC's frame orders for one vary important reason. Back-up. It seems the more I say something about this, the less I get them. Please remember us as we may be all you have in an area when a squad CO has RL bite him.
