I don't think that would go over too well with my liberal friends. They may faint.

It's all in the presentation!
Tell'em:
"Check this out, I've found a new use for the guns ya'll hate so much!"
open the bottle, then say
"Now, is that recycling or what?"

You could always shoot the lid off theirs, then use the slide frame on yours.
I suspect they'd better appreciate it then.

1. It's not a Makarov. It's MR-654K pneumatical.
2. Bolt block work not shown.
3. Beer is not "Baltika-3"
:-)

Why do you need a bottle opener when you have bullets? Unless you're trying to conserve ammo or some hippy idea like that:rolleyes:

Somebody's obviously never drank out of a bottle with a broken off neck. It was a terrible idea, and I figured I'd die of internal bleeding for sure, but dammit it was the last good beer and I was damn well going to drink it!

doing stuff like that is how people get accidently killed by guns.

:lol I try to keep my bottles clear of foreign object when drinking out of them. Henry Weinhard's root beer is pretty good eh? I'm no drunk.

I've been considering buying a Makarov for some time now.
That just sealed the deal.

You probably meant Baltika-9? 6 is "porter", dark and quite strong, but nothing compares to 9. I like strong beer, but 9 is too much for me, it was a first Russian strong beer back in the 90s, I didn't drink it for maybe 7 years or more...
"We drink vodka only for smell, we are naturally stupid enough" (Водку пьём для запаха, дури своей хватает) ;)
-
Ah yes 9 it was.

When the russians copied the Walther PP they also copied that feature.

Funny, but it seems to me that when PP was designed there were no such beer caps. In 1960s in GDR soda and beer were sold in bottles with caps on wire, so you could open and seal them again easily with plain fingers.

not saying that the 1935 walther had a built in bottle opener that was intentional.... only that the 1950's makarov copy of the walther will open beer bottles just like the original will.
