Hi All,
 This time I'll make an exception because I don't really see it as direct competition.

I recieved this as part of an IEN newsletter.

OUR FREE DAWN OF ACES WEEK!
iEntertainment is planing a FREE week of Dawn of Aces -- our award winning World War I flight simulation game. The FREE Dawn of Aces Thanksgiving week is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 21 -- Monday, Nov. 27. All you need to participate is an email address.

Just thought some of you might be interested, Anyone fancy an AH squad?

 Is it really free? Or do I need to open an account with a credit card and then possibly go through the not too rare nightmare of closing it?  I ask because I DO like DoA, very much. It is the best WWII flight sim ever.

No idea Westy,
AH is my 1st sim so I have had no dealings with IEN, (But I have heard the stories). I would like to give it a try but they ain't getting my Visa No unless I like it.

 As I understand it its really free. They will either devote 1 arena or open a seperate arena for freebie play. NO CC or cash needed.
  DOA hasnt changed in over a year "why I left" but Ill probably check it out. If you never played it before you owe it to yourself to check it out. If they get more numbers in the arena, and I gater they did after simguild closed their doors, then its close in intense action. Its nothing like Aces High or any other WW2 sim.

 BTW beware of the triplane, its the DOA equivlent of the uber dweeb cannon hog  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif) besides, everyone knows real men fly spads

Haven't ever play DoA online but maybe it could be fun. If I got time I'll check that out later.

But definetly my favorite was D.Va  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) (the uber camel killer)
