i can do all that online, but irl i (choose your favorite):
cant afford to/
have never had an engine failure/
prefer coffee/
only fly single engine or 3 holers because i own a P-51 & fly a DC-10 professionally/
think VFR is for sissies

Im changing my name from Yeager to Hoover.  The guy is just a gem of a pilot.

On a related note: we were going through some 35mm slides my dad had taken at an airshow at Mountain Home AFB back in the early 60s (had to be before 1964...thats when we were stationed in Bermuda) and low and behold we came across a few dozen pictures of Bob Hoover in his trademark P51...last shot was Hoovers P51 taxiing past the parked Thunderbirds in what appeared to be F100s......a classic photograph in aviation history, and my dad was behind the camera :)

Maybe someday I can get my act together and put up a webpage of all the photographs he took during his years in the USAF, some great stuff there.

I saw Bob Hoover live at the 1991 EAA Convention at Oshkosh, doing stuff I would not have thought possible! :eek:
