Title: Anybody watched V for Vendetta?
Post by: deSelys on April 06, 2006, 05:13:18 PM
I thought that it was an excellent adaptation of the comic (graphic novel sounds so pompous...). A bit shortened of course, and with a slightly different ending, but perfectly in the spirit of the story.

I loved the part when the govt broadcasts frightening news to make the people dependent of the authority... Makes you think twice about what's happening those days.

I recommend it highly.

Those who need to can try and draw parallels to reality all they like, but frankly I don't care to guess, and the movie was good enough that I was too busy enjoying it to take time out to hate the evil booosh.
