Hi Guys,
With all the hullabaloo over on the MA about our
penchant for base capping and target wasting it
was suggested by a few of our members that we
might enjoy throwing in with you guys in scenario games.
I guess what I'm asking is what do we do now?
We're still organizing but we have like 40+ players
on our roster. Not sure how many of them would be
interested but I'm guessing quite a few.
Please point me to what I need to know...

Well get a couple of the lead guys in on this tour by having them post invite requests in this forum.
Then check out this Sticky (http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=147070) which is at the top of this forum so you can plan on joining as a squad for next tour if you want, it starts in three weeks.
Next you have to decide if you're fly with doobs or the 347th with me and 68KO tomorrow. Either way you can't go wrong but don't tell doobs I said that.:D

Heya Delta... welcome to FSO. If you have any extras that make you exceed the maximum squad numbers (if there is one...?), they are welcome to fly with Rogue Squadron. :)

Easyscor, actually doobs and I were in a little duel
(he called me out :D ) and he was really giving you
guys big time props! he really sold me on this
Squad Ops idea.
I don't know if I can get many other players on
board for this Friday in such a short time but I'd
be interested in playing so I can give them all
an idea of what it was like.
If someone would let me know what I need to do.
I need an invite right so I ca be a part of a squad in
the game.

Don't worry about trying to bring 40 people,:O even 10 guys would throw off the balance and that might cause problems actually. Bring a few guys and between Dux, doobs and the 347th we can fit everyone in though possibly not all on the same side this frame, do our best. Nef and Knuckles are running the CM side of the show tonight, they have the last word. Then the registered squad CO will be your commander.

I read the link a little while ago.
I've been trying to get just a couple guys to join me tonight.
Just put out the word so I'm waiting to hear back.
What I'm curious about is the mechanics of joining FSO
tonight. Do I just log into the game and go to the SEA
with my teammates?

Yes. You'll have to look up one of us and get a squad invite to one of the SEA squads which is different from the MA squads. If you plan on flying with doobs and 1177, you'll need to "get into uniform" by joining their squad. Otherwise look for me and 68KO or Dux.
As you know, all the squads must keep within their registered player numbers but it sounds like it won't be a problem.

Hey guys, I want to start hyping the next FSO event.
Does anyone know what it is and when it will start?

Next FSO starts April 28th and it has not been written or submitted yet. The FSO team writes all new events and has them posted the week before frame 1 in this case that would be around the 21st of April

96Delta,
We are in frame 2 of 3 for this event. We will be playing tonight and next friday night. We then take a week off and start another 3 frame set. The soonest we'd be able to get your squad as a whole into the event would be two fridays from now, not including today.
In order to do that, we'd ask that you register for the FSO event and put down a commitment level. As the rules state you can be two over or two under the range provided.
One of the FSO CMs will announce what the next FSO event will be. I'm not sure, but I think skernsk might be up next on picking the battle we attempt to simulate.
In addition to FSO, the AH CM team put on the Close Escort (currently Sunday afternoons US time) which recreates a bomber runs with escorts against defenders. FSO is a single life event whereas Close Escort has events with multiple lives.
In addition to the weekly events of CE and FSO, the CM team puts on scenarios that are aimed at being large scale re-enactments and what if scenarios that typically run three to four times a year and have 3 to 6 frames. The scenarios do not currently revolve around squad registrations, instead they use individual pilot registrations.
The http://www.ahevents.org/site will provide you with more information regarding all the special events the CM team puts on.
