OK...here's the story. Upgraded OS to WinXP Pro. Have a full CH HOTAS setup worked fine using control manager when using win2K Pro.
CH Combat Stick , Pro Throttle and Pro Pedals work fine in Windows. Calibrated in windows works great. Got into AH chose select joystick. Have 3 controler setup. Chose each one separately axis inputs etc. and worked fine. However I get no input from them when I go to set deadbands etc. And when I go to tower I get no response at all from the views on the Combat Stick. I have the map loaded from Control manager and I get input when I singularly chose the devices in "select a joystick."
However no input at all in the game or when I go to set deadbands etc.
What's the problem? (Besides me being a dolt?)

have you calibrated them in AH?
even though I have views in the profile, I have to set views on stick inside AH for my X45 to get the views on the main hat.

Hajo,
For each axis you need to individually click 'Set Input' and then click 'Apply'. Then calibrate.
Just one of the little quirks of the joystick setup program.

Your a dolt.

Balsy thanks. LOL
Reddg thankya.
And Eagler roger did calibrate several times in Aces High and no go.
Now I'm trying to not use control manager at all and just map the stick throttle and pedals in Aces High.
Hope it works.

I dumped control manager years ago in favor of AH's stick mapping. I use a CH Fighterstick usb, pro throttle usb, and analog CH pedals via a radioshak gameport->usb converter. Folks underestimate the power of AH's stickmapping capabilities. Using it just gives you one less program running in the background.
All the Best...
