Journalism is always biased. Always has been. Always will be.

Wow.  Using a stereotype to investigate a stereotype.  How stereotypical.

I wonder if I wore a Nascar shirt and a baseball cap to a hardcore Rapper concert  in Detroit, if I would find discrimination against me???

Depends on how you wore the baseball cap.

Straight-forward bill, with a red neck tan, and work boots....(muddy ones, so it actually looked like I'd worked that day...)

then you would be antagonizing our inner-city youth and showing your contempt for their problems by acting like the man holding them down you bigot. Sandy or MT will be along shortly to explain exactly how.

This is Dateline.  They always do crap like that (and worse).

Remember their story on the exploding trucks, that they had to tie rocket motors to the gas tanks to make them explode?

The NASCAR fans blew it; they should have bought the Muslims beers and then beat up the Dateline crew.

Forty some odd years ago, Walter Cronkite took off his glasses and announced dramatically and sorrowfully, that President Kennedy had died. A lot of little kids wanted to be Walter Cronkite, so they kill a Kennedy at every chance - even if no Kennedy is in sight! They just want to take their glasses off, appear shaken and smart.

It's a news journal, is this a suprise?  What suprises me is that they didn't stage a fictional reinactment of what this racism would look like and spend the rest of the episode talking about how horrible that looked.
