Title: [UNRLTD] How to disable mousepad on laptop ?

... when I pllug in a propper USB mouse?

the damn thing is annoying as h*** ... keeps moving my chars around when I'm typing...

I don't want to remove it completely, as I use the pad when i am in a train/plane etc...

Well my guess is you need 2 hardware profiles one with touchpad one without.


To create another profile
System properties (windows+pause)
Hardware tab
click on the hardware profile buton
create another profile named "without touchpad"

reboot

choose this profile
System properties (windows+pause)
Hardware tab
click on device manager
disable the touchpad driver

it should do the trick.


Ps : it's 200K€ per tips ;)

Thanks Straffette, I will try it tomorrow (left it in the office, enough for today).
