I've converted a couple dozen films withe the AH film viewer but they all conver with no sound, is there a way i can conver with sound or does the prog just no support it?? (I'm using the DivX / Xvid mpeg-4 codecs if that makes a difference)

anyone know??
a little hit would be nice

Doubt it Nemeth.
All the AH2 movies I have ever seen dubbed in a musical track.
You could record the game sound separately and dub that in
but syncing it up would be a challenge.

96Delta, check out thread called "carrier sortie".
You can pull out audio. I use fraps (http://www.fraps.com) to capture audio and video. I don't use the filmviewer, but rather the actual game. I think you just need to hit the fulscreen button and then use fraps that way.
I have little experience with the fim viewer, but maybe you should try a different codec besides the divx one. I use windows media 9 codec.

That's not it. If AHII FV used sound it would increase file size for the .avi film. Plus, the AHII FV is just a replay of the game and you can move your head around however you want to. So, extracting sound along with the film wouldn't just take longer. HTC propably disabled it due to the fact that it would jam the Film Viewer and increase file size of the extraction method.
Besides, HTC once told me that the Film Viewer isn't "User Friendly".

Kermit,
I watched your video... AWESOME!!
The best I've seen to date!
Do you know of any tutorials that can teach
me a little about how to compose one like
you did? How did you learn to do that neat stuff?
Awesome movie Kermit.
Thanks for sharing it with me!

well thanks 4 the info, but is there any other programs that i can use besides "frapps"?

Play the ah film.
If you just want the sound, run a sound program and record it. Make sure your recording device isn't the mic, but "what U hear" assuming you have a creative card. Also, creative has a sound editing program that comes with the card called Wave Studio.
How I did it was I opened the film and let it load, then I opened my Wave Studio and hit the record button, then I switched back to the AHFV and hit play.
When you are done, just switch back to Wave Studio and hit stop.
