Seems to me that recently on landing the 190a5 has more bounce than Jordan's knockers.
Even gentle touch down is followed by 3-4 kangaroo hops, stall flutter etc.
I usually cross threshold at about 110 with one notch of flaps before flare.
Any comments from 190 experten?
Maybe tyre pressure needs lowering a tadge?:)
Thanks.

Ah, your using landing gear, there's your problem. :)
Seriously -
Unless your rearming, it's a good idea to get the wheels up controlled crash down to a tee.
Great for landing at vulched bases, watch the guys trying to vulch you plough into the runway.
In fact currently perfecting wheels up controlled slide into a bomber hanger.

Why don't you be a man and go wheels up into VH?:p

But how do I explain to my wife the scratched paintwork, bent prop and spilled coffee? :)

Who is Jordan??

Vought must have took the Corsair's gear design from KT

Seems like the first notch of flaps provide a lot of more nose up movement than it used to before. Try landing with flaps at the "landing" position - namely, full flaps.

Try holding the spacebar while landing.also works in the Ki-61 .
