Title: Survivor Panama Exile
Post by: Sandman on April 13, 2006, 08:20:16 PM: I haven't watched this season. In fact, I didn't realize there was a new season until just last week.

I was watching tonight and they were interviewing Terry. I thought... Hey, I know that guy. Imagine my surprise. I was in VF-51 with Terry Deitz (http://www.cbs.com/primetime/survivor12/survivors/bio_terry.shtml) in 1988-1990.

He seems to be doing well.

Gotta love the USNR; fly me down to Panama for 2 weeks, set me up in a 5 star hotel, pay for my meals, and pay me a few grand for the effort. Can't wait to go back. And, oh, the women...

Check out the scuba diving while you are down there. It's fantastic. Scuba Panama was a good school several years ago. I don't know if it's still there.

Don't really have the time to do that kind of thing when we're down there. Some of us are underway the whole and the rest of us are on the beach taking of business at CenCom.

I can't make up my mind who I hate more Johnny Fairplay, or Shane. Probably Shane, because he wanted to cry and quit earlier in the game. Now he struts around like King ****, and if he hadn't been carried by his teammates he wouldn't be here.

Terry is the man. I hope he continues to stick it to those tardlettes. Regardless of who win immunity next week, Terry won't be going home. I'm hoping it's Shane, and if not Shane,,,,,,,, Arras.

I have spoken with former survivor contestant Jake Billingsly a number of time
I assure you it isnt scripted.
But little known fact is that everyone who makes the final cut IE: as in makes it on TV get some compansation.

No idea on what is or isn't scripted...but winner is definately decided well in advance. Proof...Vegas doesn't carry a line on the outcome & no betting allowing in Nevada on outcome because it is an event which some people all ready know the outcome.

I don't think the winner is decided, but there are plenty people who know who the top two will be before the show airs on television.

winner is decided when the jury cast their votes. . . then the ballot box is flown to L.A. and a couple months later the live show airs where they read out the votes.

Well Yeah LOL seeing as they have all been home for several months before they air the results show. You notice how everyone is all fattend up :D

I would imagine Lynn Stallmaster knows and some othe big wigs at CBS.
This show is interesting not because of the physical stuff but the mental games
combined with being hungry and tierd.
They do have medical people there with them and they are really never alone "cameramen and sound men" always around but it still is not a walk in the park
some of those people go thru some serious weight lose.

Oh and I pick the black chic to win.

Except the dumb broad lost the spear on the fracken first day they had it. Also fun to watch to see what some hot chick will do for chocolate.
