Maybe you old chaps could be quiet and let youngers try this one (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
So: What is this plane ?
All you can see is spinner, wingroots and exhausts but that should be enough (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Dornier Do-335? Notice the exhaust stacks pointing the "wrong" way. Sub-fin is also visible below fuselage.

Almost looks like Spitfire.. but theres couple funny things still.
-
It is surely a rear prop pusher. Look at the prop angle and trailing edge. The exhuast stacks also point to the prop.
The Japanese were working on a pusher, the Shinden.
Or the D0-335 as MarkVZ said.
Wish I knew. I don't have much for referance books.

Umm.. what was that japanese fighter with engine in the rear?
-
This is a SAAB J21 pusher fighter from the mid/late 1940s. It was also called the A21 when used as a ground attack plane.
