On the plus side, with a title like that you know exactly what you're getting when you buy your movie ticket.

Thing that gets me is that it has been basicaly unpublicized or promoted by the makers, but the fan sites and blogs have went crazy to the point of a cult film.

I've been following it loosely for a while, and yeah, it's going to be a cult film.  It's going to be absolutely craptastic!  

There are all kinds of rumors about funny stuff, like how Sam Jackson got onboard.  Rumor is that he signed on as soon as he read the title, and then they changed the name preproduction and he threatened to quit unless they changed it back.  When you think about it, if you named it something like "Venom" or "Fangs" or something, nobody would pay any attention.  But "Snakes on a Plane" has it all... simple, to the point, and conveys the idea that the movie is something original yet doesn't take itself too seriously.  

I'll be seeing it.  :)

They should just make a movie called "Dog Crap in a Bag"  

I mean seriously that just looked REALLY dumb.  And hollywood wants to blame movie pirates for their losses.

C'mon, Skuzz, why'd you delete the rest of my message?  It was just talking about how Samuel L. Jackson signed onto the movie without reading the script because he liked the title.  Jeepers!

It may very well end up that way. Hard to believe with Jackson in it, but at any rate it`s allready reached cult film status. Amazing.
