Title: Cannot return to default cockpit view
Post by: PapaFox on April 17, 2006, 03:14:42 AM
I used to use the "home" key to bring the eyes of my pilot back to the default location in the cockpit. Then I used the "home" key for another purpose (because of a new keyboard which lacked a convenient "insert" key). Unfortunately, I cannot find in the keyboard map the location for setting another key to be used for the use previously done by the "home" key. Any suggestions?

In Keyboard Map switch to "View keys" on the left. Then go look for Move Home. Assign a free key to it.

If you want to return keymap to default, go find the Settings folder in your game installment - Should be somewhere like c:\programs\HTC\Aces High II\Settings. Its a GOOD thing to back that folder up every once in a while, since it contains all customized settings. If you ever have to reinstall game you can copy paste it back in and have all your old settings back in an instant. Anyway, to return Keymap to default, just delete the .kmp files (theres 6 of them) in the Settings folder.
