Just a headsup.. I SHOULD  be home by 9pm et...I MAY be a little late but I doubt it. However..if I am late..standby and I will be in as soon as I get home.  The bomb group probably will not launch till 9:15 or so anyways to group up.

Anyone on allied who will take the role of CO that I can stay in contact with please contact me at start. Please organize your interceptors into squad sized units as best you can.

Hey filth can i make a suggestion?  Can you make the Ju-88's take off from A-60 and rtb to A-60?? This way they have enough room from the target to get alt.  After all The alt is basically their main defense. And the escorts can take off from thier original airfields A-48 and rendevous (how you spell that?) with the ju-88's who are already climbing to alt.

It's just a suggestion and it feels more realistic that way   ;)   After all I dont think historically the buffs and escorts took off from same fields.. They would usually take off from diffrent locations and meet up with each other.

Anybody have any opinions good or bad, would like to be heard...:)

The buffs and fighter will meet up after taking off from different fields. They will both land at A48 though. Usually by that time the battle is over and folks just want to get down.

Title: Mission 1 AAR
Post by: FiLtH on April 19, 2006, 09:52:30 PM
Ashford received light damage. However the Luftwaffe lost only 2 bombers. It was a fantastic escort lead by Plantan0. Special thanks also to Soup. Plink was lead bomber, thanks bud. Phaser11 was RAF lead, thanks for organizing your side! Special thanks Robbie14 for helping get setup on the RAF side.

Mission 1 scoring will definately have to goto the Axis. I saw alot of LW fighters that were in the mission landing kills. Well done!

Look for another mission possibly this weekend.

I say (in upperclass English Accent) the Day was marvelous, I bagged one Jerry bomber Ju 88 (confirmed),  damaged another bomber,... then my plane was tagged by either the gunner from the 2nd bomber or the 109 on my tail.  It didn't matter, I managed to escape and still land on the Port near Dover.   By the Way.... what ever happed to our white cliffs of Dover???

Cheerio!!
