Well, here is what I have right now:

AMD 3700+
ASUS A8N-E
2gb XMS
X850XT
Cooler Master case
DVD Burner
Antec SP500W

My neighbor was helping me, he managed to break off 2 capacitors (he bought another.  But it is all for naught, he broke a pin on the 3700+.

So......Now, I am returning everything but the Antec and the AMD.

I'll be getting a built PC from Cyberpowerpc.com

3200+
ASUS A8N5x
2gb C. Value Select
7800GT

I'll be throwing in the Antec on this rig.

I should be flying around Mid-May.

Awwww shucks, sorry bout ur luck Kar!  You sure you don't want to just RMA and try again .  That AMD/ATI rig you had lined up woulda' been a real screamer :( .

But now I'm getting a 7800GT.  Faster card with this new one.

 It's as easy as falling down & you'll get a better rig. I never saw the inside of a PC before I built my first one & it went w/o a hitch & fired right up the first time. You'll be glad you did in the end.

how in the hell did he break the fricken pins off the cpu, i have exact one, it just slips right in.......WTF
