Title: Do we have a sticky or FAQ for conn issues

Had some serious spiking, turned off firewall and disabled the wireless connection but still had same issue over my "land line" connection (high speed DSL)....usually connection is rock solid. Dont know what other steps to take to make sure its not on my end somewhere vs just blaming the ISP....
