Ok, Schumi now hold the all time record for pole-positions,
i say not that bad for a timid driver, Nilsen eh? ;) ehehe
See you tomorrow on the track!
-
Hehehe
Still timid
No other drivers around to scare him on qualifying :D
I would not be suprised if he crashes on lap one, or just runs out of the cockpit from the grid ;)

Looking forward to tomorrows race. Imola is a great track, and its the only one that I have done a lap on in RL.

Nice timid racing my MS :)
Glad to see he was so happy about the win. Almost looked like he never expected to do so again because he has realised how old and timid he is :D
J/K
Wtg MS and a HUGE rofl to the lolipop guy in team Honda :rofl :rofl
-
it was a 'must win' for Schumi, Montezemolo didnt expected less today! ;)
Ya it was good & fast race day. When Aflonso was closing the gap to
Schumi, did you see Briatore smile? lol
He was sure Alfonso would now overtake Schumi easy and go for teh win ;)

Briatore should have taken Alfonso in for his last pit as soon as he was on Shumis tail. He was going a good 2 seconds quicker than MS at that time, but its almost impossible to pass anyone on the narrow track at imola
Bad call by Briatore for the first time in ages. To his defence it looked like he was really enjoying watching Alonso push MS

Looked to me that 'So got intimidated by Schuey there at the end. Almost lost it a few times after driving a near perfect race.

This was the most annoying race ever for me!
There I was watching the warm-up lap and suddenly half way down the lap the TV screen is filled up with snowing! Not a single channel worked for the duration of the entire race and not until half hour or an hour after the race!
I'd like to know who was responsible for such a great timing... go figure.
-
You didnt lose much. San Marino is one of teh most boring cirquits around. I think there was only one overtake in the whole race outside pitstops.
It's also good to have a satellite connection for situations like that Fishu. :D
-
I only had wished it was in HD.
I'm glad MS won the pole and the race. Its always best to retire on a high note!
-
If they hadn't nuetered his car he would've won alot more :)

sorry i disagree here totaly!
Imola is one of the real last race tracks, not the modern kind race
tracks who all are boring & ultra broad, but safe of course.
Imola, Spa, Suzuka, Monza not many good race tracks left...
-
In Imola, overtaking is almost impossible... perhaps it was fun years ago, but right now with differences at 100ths of a second, it's boring as hell.

Of the old tracks I like Spa the best. The newer tracks are better for todays racing in terms of overtaking. Im not sure I would like to see the older tracks go away tho, cause tradition has its apeal.

The Monaco circuit is very tight, I think it's the slowest of the circuits, it has very few passing opportunities, but has to be the quintessential F1 race.
Maybe it is the atmosphere surrounding the race, but it has to be the one race every driver wants to win if they can win no other.
For me, the close, tight racing at Imola is a plus .
-
Monaco is exciting because of the tight tolerances. Everyone knows that any driver could be knocked out of the race any time from the slightest mistake.

Just sayin', MS seemed to do a bit better before they yanked the V10's & went to standardized TCS :) Can't wait to see the new wings & slicks for '07. Now.. if they'd just bring back downforce fans we'd have some really, really fast cars in the corners.
-
we need _less_ downforce indy :)
-
You also have that great oportunity to pass others at the end of the tunnel. If you fail, you may crash and give us some great entertainment.

I disagree, but I'm a fan of unlimited classes :) If racing didn't keep outlawing logical advances (downforce fans, dynamic body surfaces) we'd have *really* fast cars... probably to the extent drivers couldn't phsyically be in the cars and we'd be cheering on our favorite team of engineers instead lol.
I mean, if they're still too fast & too grippy, why not drop back to 1.5L's? :)
