Title: Game Freeze

I have an older Hp that freezes up or will kick me out of the system. Everything fires up fine, but during the game, screen will freeze and after a minute or two will un-freeze.
Here's what it is:

HpPavillion 522n
Celeron Proscessor 1.79 ghz
Cpu 1.8 ghz
512 mb ram
Nividia GeForce Fx 5000 video card
Saitek Cyborg Joy Stick

Everything else runs fine. re installed Vid card with factory driver, still does same thing. Any help or past post will do. Tried resetting all AH video settings but no help.

Make sure you are using the 61.77 version of the NVidia video card drivers.  Also, turn down the maximum texture size to 256 in the video setings of the game.  Do not preload skins.

Thanks Skuzzy. Think that may have fixed it. Now I gotta let my wife play.
