I was just wondering about some of the things here in the game.
I dropped out in Jan after I became quite frustrated with the rubber bullets, and hardware stutters. My hardware has worked perfectly in WOW.
I was just wondering if they had fixed the rubber bullets, and other stuttering issues yet?
I was also wondering about such things as;
Do the 109s have their high speed flaps yet?
How about the 109 views, there was some discussion on changing those to more like the older 109s.
Did the 109G6 get it’s 30mms back?
Whats' up with the 109F4 now, did it get it's old guns package back?
Have they beefed up the 190’s turn rate?
Do they now have fighter towns in most maps now, or have they abandoned the FT concept?
I talked to a guy here who lives here in Anchorage on Sunday who plays AH, and I should have asked him then. But he got my curiosity up?
Probably a big grocery list in such a short time. :)

it's all pretty much the same, except they changed the flight models of all the planes, so we have more realistic effects now.
and, AH never had a problem with rubber bullets, only a few guys get that. to fix it, all you need to do is update your vid card drivers, make sure sound acceleration is at 3/4 not full, and dont turn Vsync off, as that makes you lose frames, so you see bullets hitting but the system doesnt recognise it.
AH doesnt have a problem, it'll be your PC. you dont get the same thing is more recent games like warcraft because their graphics mean lower frame rates, so your computer doesnt discard frames. easy answer: turn V sync on in your graphic preferences ingame:aok

TY for the response.
I did all of the above and more, I changed video cards, changed mobo's, sent in configurations. Reloaded Windows several times, ran memory scanners.....
After about 4 months...
I was finally running a 3200+ Athlon, ATI 256MB card, 1.5GB RAM, I loaded the drives suggested by Skuzzy (they weren't the latest BTW). I ram third party drivers, I must have loaded and cleaned out 6 or more sets of drivers.
Sent my configs in to HT, did hours and hours of reprogramming, checking BIOS.
I ran my son in laws 6800 GT NIVIDIA card with several sets of drivers. It was like I didn't have guns...
In Jan, I left until the next patch, where I was going to buy a NIVIDIA card than that, about $400 or so I think 7200 or something like that.
Then I ran into WOW, and it is a lot of fun.
I just hope to be back in AH when things get better, but not right now. To tell the truth I hadn't even thought of AH until I talked to some guy on Sunday.
Anyways, I am sure HT will eventualy sort it all out, and someday I will probably be back. By then it will be a whole different arena, it sounds like a lot has changed already.
I think I still have some film of rubber bullets I could probably dig up. I don't think I deinstalled AH, I have a 250 GB SATA drive.
Anyways this is starting to sound like a rant, and that is not why I came here, :)
Have a good one.

umm your system is ok for it. Have you used a driver cleaner ? Try fresh install set vid card to max performance Vsync on and refresh rates same as monitor. Use 512 vid settings on start up.
There's no stutters at all now and as for Jerry planes I have no idea.
Oh BTW convergence is tighter now so try 300.

Your hardware is fine , did you ever run a pingplotter for an hour or so to see if you were dropping packets, or have skuzzy trace the route back to you to see if its an asynchronous route ?
I know your not here to rant or anything like that , but if it was something wrong with AH or the servers you would see alot of people in here talking about rubber bullets . While the net can be problem for all who play from time to time , ive never had a real problem with rubber bullets for a long period of time . Hope you find and fix the issue . 38

109 flaps drop 1 notch at around 200 mph, iirc.
The g6 has no 30mm.
The 109 cockpit frames are incredibly thick, the 190s arent as bad, but they arent great either.
I didnt realize just how bad they were till I upped a Ta-152.. it used to have the same cockpit as a 190, but it is a lot easier to see whats in front of you in a 152.
