LOL Ihad something like this for the C64 that I programed in out of a Compute Gazette. Except you could shoot tanks on the ground also. :)

You actually succeeded in doing one of those?? WTFG

I tried a couple out of "Load *" magazine and  never got one to work.
 Damn things bout drove me crazy.
I realised after my 3rd try I was not cut out to be a programmer LOL

I had a subscription to that when I was 12.  Hours upon hours of entering machine language, hoping you got it in right!  Then I upgraded to where the magazine came with the 5.25" floppy with all the software from the magazine on the disk.  Yyaaaay

You had a C64? I was always jealous of the kids with C64's. All my olds would get me was an Acorn Electron. Adjusting the tape recorder's volume to load games about drove me insane.

Had? I still have one in my upstairs bedroom closet. :D

1??? We still have 3 here lol disk drives and a tape drive. :) and all still work.
  We programed in alot of games from those magazines.

I agree. IMHO is someone actually tries to kamakazi someone it should be programmed that he wanted to give up his virtual life and should die doing it. The pilot that was trying to maneuver and got hit should sustain whatever damage that occured and should have the chance to RTB if possible. If it's a mutual accident of position and unintentional then damage shoul dreflect what occured.

Until it's programmed to do that then it's an arcade game.

A DISK DRIVE???  Hell I started with a Commodor Pet, 8k memory and a cassette drive :rofl

My C128 & drives are in the attic, and my 2 monitors are in the kids rooms for game consol use.  LOAD "*",8,1   :)
