So I'm setting up a modified smoker using my turkey fryer stand as a base. The question I have is there's a little hole on the regulator, is gas supposed to "bleed" out of it?
It's not much but it definatly increases when I turn the regulator up and if I block it with my finger I get an amazing amount of gass out of the burner itself. I'm cooking a brisqet tomorrow and need to know before I start cooking.

Dammit, I've been drinking so driving there is out of the question and I don't think they open early enough for me to replace it. :(
Thanks storch. This is the second bad one today. I've been having problems with my smoker. The first regulator (i'm assuming) is cloged because I cannot get hardly any flame out of it at all. Now this one is capute as well.
At least I didn't blow the tank up.
