good find Ed, theres some funny stuff there, but I dont think I'll be throwing any of my books away :lol

He mentions that the Tempest had a problem of loosing their tails, I think though it was the early models of the Typhoon that had that problem.

Ok, I took some time and read some more of the site.  He has a lot of interesting stuff there, especially on the aircraft colors and links, definitly a keeper.  It also gets funnier, check the Toy Airplane buy guide :lol

The D.520 was th best fighter the French had when the armee de l'air went to war with the German luftwaffe. 15 minutes later it was the best trainer the luftwaffe had.

I don't care who ya' are that's funny right there. The ones about the aero-cobra flat out slayed me....

Another gem, for anyone who remembers the earlier Japanese imports:

"Like all Japanese vehicles, the Ki-84 was small, nimble, went forever on a tank of gas and had bad brakes."

:rofl :rofl

The remarks on the 262 are priceless. Same for the d520.

I really like the presentation, though. Something like that for AH could really help the n00bs grasp the differences in the planes.

I wrote him

Aaron,

Thanks for your interest in Fritz the Fox! I’m glad you enjoyed my site.

I tried a demo of Aces High a while back, but I prefer Il-2:Forgotten Battles for online play. It’s free, and I’m notoriously cheap :-)

  Happy landings!
