You ever get anything more on the Spit V with the misaligned invasion stripes?

Also got a research project if you get time -
154 Sqn codes were HT between Nov 1941 - Nov 1942, and Jun 1943 - Oct 1944
You gotta bet there was Spit HT*C , maybe even an VIII :)

No more luck on AB910. Can't find a comparable photo of a wartime bird from that squadron with overlapping D-Day stripes.
Only HT-C Spit I've found is this one which is a late XVI. Think they might let you do a Silver 16? :)

Would depend 'how late' it was.
Would go nicely with a silver RAAF V and a silver FAA Seafire I dug up.
On a side note -
Was up late last night and caught "633 Squadron" (again) on one of the movie channels.
Guess what
One of the Mossies is coded HT*C lol !!!!!!

lol kev now you are really starting to worry me,you should try to sleepmore and not dream of aces high lol.
dream of whisky and heather and bonnie Scotland
or if you want sheep beer and bonnie tyler:aok
love your skins anyway even if you are from way up north origionaly

Lol.
Dunno about the bare metal XVI but you've got me back at the bare metal Spit V I have been playing with for months now.
Another RAAF bird.

I sure hope the HTC folks get around to fixing the nose shape on the Spit V. Hard to believe it's possible to make a Spit look bad but that nose is just ....off...wrong.....something ....
The VIII, IX, XVI looks right so that kinda makes up for it :)
