Title: Transparencies for noseart
Post by: Nath-BDP on October 22, 2000, 01:46:00 PM
How do u make the backround of an image transparent in photoshop 5.5?

Sometimes when I use white it becomes transparent in game but other parts that should stay white in the pic become transparent. Other times everything stays white and theres no transparencies. Could someone explain this to me?

thx

Nath
I haven't used Photoshop but as transparencies go, I also use a color not in my graphic as the background color. That way you don't make something in the graphic transparent as well as you describe above. I use lview 1.d to create transparent gifs. Very easy and on the web as a d/l.
good luck

Use an RGB value of 176,176,176 for transparent portions of AH nose art images.
