I know this is off topic ,but can anyone tell me how to take a screenshot off my computer screen. not aces high(alt s) but like off internet explorer.ie a screenshot of this bb page?

you can hit "print screen" button on the keyboard and it will save it to your "clipboard" then you can use an art program to open the image, and save it. Or you could use "fraps". A free program that can save not only screen shots, but video too.

You can do screenshots with fraps from almost anything, on windows desktop printscreen does it as already has been pointed out.

when i hit print screen it doesn't seem to do anything. it also says sysrq on my button. where would printscreen file be stored?

jon, its not stored in any file. The "screenie" is temporarily transferred to your *clipboard* (much like when you use CTR_C to copy stuff). Youll need to open a graphic editing software (like Paint, photoshop etc.), create a new file and PASTE the screenie in from your clipboard. Then "save as" file on your HDD.
