Title: Game doesn't work any more

Ever since last download the game doesn't work.  I fire it up and I get an error message

"Initialization failed with-9 MainWLD_FAILED-1"

I'm currently showing 2.01 Patch 6 and I believe it should be patch 7.

Any Ideas?

Maybe the download file was corrupt?



Back up your Settings, Ahterr, Skins and (if you got custom ones) Sounds/Sights folders. Then uninstall AH. Download the current full version from the homepage and reinstall. Start the game. If it works, quit it again and place your backed up custom folders back in you new installement.



PS: Its good to keep a backup of your settings somewhere. In case you ever loose the install, you dont need to set up stick and all head pos etc again.

That is an old file.  The current release is "Version 2.07 Patch 2".  If you have the AH2072.EXE installer, then the shortcut you are using is pointing to the wrong installation of the game.
Try going to "Start->Programs->Aces High II->Aces High II" and see if it is linked to the correct version.

Already tried the start menu thing...didn't work. So I guess reinstall then.  Thing is, I don't remember my password.

Use this link (https://www.hitechcreations.com/admin/index.html) and select the "Resend Password" option to have your password sent to your email address of record.  You will need to provide your login ID.
