Title: 2006 East Coast Airshows

Hey everyone...I was thinking that maybe some of us on the East Coast wanna get together this summe for some airshows?....

I wil be flying to DC area for the Andrews AFB Open House for the Satuday show (5-20)....I will also be driving to Jones Beach, NY for either the saturday or sunday show....maybe both (5-27/28)....

Finally I am still deciding on what June or July shows to go to....the scheduling Gods put millville/westfield and quonset on the same weekend!:cry

Millville is always awesome so I think I will be doing the friday night show, and saturday morn/afternoon in millville then heading back to this area for quonset or westfield...most likely quonset thought because westfield has really sucked as of late....anyways if anyone is planning on attending send me a PM or e-mail....palazzom1@southernct.edu

Plan on getting all the way down to the water for the Jones Beach show.. bring beach chairs, sunbloc and a good camera. Security is tight, coolers and bags closely checked for alcohol and pointy sticks. (sheesh)

I went to JB 2004 with friends and had a cooler filled with two racks worth of beer and had no problem....has security gotten really tight since then?

Jones beach sounds like a nice trip. Me and the Gf will deffinatly try to go.

Would anybody in the NY/NJ/CT/MA area like to have a mini get together at Rhinebeck sometime this summer?

HI all,

I will be taking the family to the Quonset Airshow (yearly event since I was a kid)
Would be nice to meet some fellow AH'ers

I'll be at jones beach for sure, especially since i prefer the blue angels to the t-birds. T-birds put on a good show last year, but there's something about the blue angels that always brings it up a notch.
