Well guys, I'll be off the board for a while; estimates run about 3 weeks.

A traitorous bit of flesh and cartilege is getting its just reward today under the hand of a (hopefully) skilled surgeon.

Should be no biggie, but the cutter says I shouldn't be sitting at a desk and fooling with the computer for a few weeks afterwards.

I will miss the witty repartee on the BBS and most certainly the game in the arena.

But, I'll be back... count on it!

Just make sure you get Vicodin.  It kept the pain level down for me when I had my right knee scoped.  But after the first day it's doable.  Heck, I got married eight days after the surgery.  Boy, that cane came in handy at the altar.

Actually, I was shaking so bad up there that, surgery or not, that cane kept me standing  ;)
