Title: Anyone from Tenn every seen this place?

The Elephant Santuary (http://www.elephants.com/)

Saw an article about it in the news and was impressed at the size and scope of this facility for retired elephants.

Lots of sad sad stories, nice to see these animals get some sort of "retirement"

If you are talking about Hohenwald TN, yes, I've seen it from a distance. I hear it is real nice.

PBS did an elephant special that had alot of footage from that place and it was also a very happy/ sad kinda show.


If I had money to donate to places, that place would be one of the few places I would consider donating to.
