Title: Video Card
Post by: whistlin on May 17, 2006, 11:12:09 AM
My computer seems to meet all the requirements. I have a pentium 4 with a gig of ram and Windows XP, but my video card is a 16MB ATI Rage 128 Ultra. When I try to play AHII the colors are not right and my frame rate stays around 7. Is there anything I can do to help it or do I just need to buy a new video card?

The Rage video card will not run Aces High II well enough to play the game.  It lacks hardware 3D acceleration support for DirectX9.

Wish I had better news.

I bought a cheap MadDog Predator MX (64mb ddr) card and run a Geforce4 4000 driver with it...seems to do okay for the price.  Frame rates in the upper seventies.  Every now and then after a while patches will flash white until I hit the windows key and go to desktop, and then come back into the game....don't know why that is.
