Great match, nicely played Arsenal. Pity about the early send-off.

Yah. Sorry, Furball! :p

Nice second half from FC Barcelona. And a good game overall.

There is a distinct lack of Furball in this thread....

Arsenal's first goal was the result of a dive.

It's times like this I wish I still referee'd soccer.  I'd have kicked his bellybutton out of the stadium.

No, as in just a plane old regular game...not even World Cup caliber. ;)

(And for the record, there has been been a fan that died during or in a post-superbowl "riot") :rofl

I dunno, heard a few Seahawks fans damn near dehydrated themselves crying after the last one... that can be dangerous.

Plenty of Starbucks around to revive them! ;) Incidently, you do NOT want to visit Seattle during  "real" football season with a vertically-striped shirt on.

I thought it was a good match to watch, minus the officiating.  The official was completely in over his head.   Advantage should have been played with Barca getting the early 1-0 lead and giving Lehman a yellow.

It was a total dive to setup Arsenal's goal (though the goal itself was wonderfully taken by Henry and Campbell) that should have resulted in a yellow for the dive.

In the second half, you could tell it was just a matter of time before Barcelona found the back of the net.

Also, what are the odds that Henry gets in on the keeper twice in a game and doesn't score at least one?  I thought for sure he was going to score both times.

I'm just happy that espn2 carried it live and in high definition, though I had to watch it on TiVo after I got off work.  :)
