Title: Engine Fires
Post by: FiLtH on May 19, 2006, 05:25:57 PM
This would be a smaller version of the fuel tank fire we now have(About 1/4 the size). Once started it would have to be manually controlled by turning off the affected engine. You would be given 30 seconds to do this or it would turn into the fuel tank fatal type fire.

Ya about the oil...forgot about that...maybe it could be a random thing where you may get oil, or fire, or perhaps both.

I think if you dove you could put out the fire, that'd be nice too.

I've been able to dive and see the fire actually go out.

Of course as soon as you level out, the fire may reappear.

But whether you see it or not, it is actually still on fire and POP, there goes your wing.

Fire and smoke is good, (as long as it's not on the ground); therefore, even more fire and smoke on planes is better.

The last time I caught on fire I flew about a foot or two off the water and shot the waves and the water splashed up over my plane, now shouldnt that put out a fire. Its like a solid 15 seconds of water sweeping over my plane. So could they make it so shooting the water works?
