the top pic of the T34.

You can just see at the bottom of the tracks, the predator cloaking device coming into effect.

That terrain is sweet. I suppose people would complain about frame rates though if we had something that looked that good.

Sure:)
Nothing beats top graphics of AH.Flat trees, flat clouds, and "amazingly detailed"  troops.

Nah, thats speedtree's, you see them in oblivion and ww2ol. Its got te same horrible exaggerated bloom rendering look as well.

Problem with speedtrees is distance rendering, sometimes the further away you can see normally hidden objects.

It's basically the same here in AH, allthough caused by two totally different reasons, the outcome is the same.

When I was using a weak P/C I had all my details turned way down, this allowed me to see GV's from a very long distance because there were no other details visible, just the black dot that could be nothing else but a GV. Now this had it's problems of course, if the GV was in some sort of "cover" that my P/C wasn't rendering, I couldn't hit them when I shot at them, but it made it impossible for them to hide from me & I could guide friendlies onto their position.

I didn't fully realize what was going on until I built my new P/C & cranked the graphics way up, it made the GV game much more difficult. There is a "sweet spot" where your detail can be set to render at just the right distances & not render that pesky grass. That way the GV's can't hide unless they are behind shot deflecting structure. It's gamey & I don't do it, but I know it can be done. I just cranked up the eye candy & left it on high & am trying to learn how to compete & work around this. So I would like to see some better looking terrain myself, problems with it or not, since we have problems now without the good looks.

Yeah those screens look good to me.  In fact they look great.  The soldiers look out of place though, all with the same posture and expression.

For me a great tank sim is about the 3D world inside the tank, looking out through slits, prizms.......being able experience combat inside the tank is what a good tank sim does.  I hope this one makes it to the light of day.

Here's new inside shot...other than SBProPE, no other tank sim did as nice inside as this.

A few years back I built the Academy Tiger tank kit in 1/35 scale.  This was the kit with complete interior detail, from the trany in front, the torsion bars on the floor.... all the way back to the exhaust fans.  That screenshot of the Tigers interior from the commanders seat is stunning.

Looks like I may finally have a reason for a new upgrade :D
