This is my first attempt at making an AH video.
This is a work in progress, there are no fantastic ACM's, just a bunch of kills.

Excellent film !

Beautiful! Great timing with the music.:aok

Thanks guys! When I first started on this vid I thought that after 2 months of flying the 110 I'd have enough films to complete the project, looks like I've got about 3 more months of 110 flying to do in order to finish it. :)

All guns converge at 400yds. IMO, there's little need for longer convergance since few pilots will run from a 110, most times they think that it's an easy kill. All it takes is a half second burst on target to kill most fighters.

Nice vid but I have a question, when can you movie makeing guys put them somewhere where I can download them from?
-
I wish I had access to a place to post it to. YouTube's compression is terrible.
If anyone can host a 40mb file please let me know.

To begin with, I agree. Some of the "free" sites offer substantial advertising popups, lag or baggage associated with the files, and even viruses, which make them a bad deal for all. To be fair, not everyone has a website nor the desire or tools to have one and maintain it. Everyone here can afford one though. For usually less than a McDonalds Value Meal, a website with 500MB Storage and 50GB of transfer can be obtained and thereby eliminating these other issues. My sites cost me about $5.75 a month each, not counting the domain registration. It's usually cheaper to go with go-daddy (http://www.godaddy.com) for that part. I think that is about $8 a year additional. It's not a lot of money. Time for design, purchasing software and tools, and actually doing it isn't hard or costly, but it certainly isn't free.
If someone wants to find a good location to rent space, this board has plenty of suggestions. I have only had 2 companies host for me, both were good. Cedant was very good, but very expensive. I currently have 2 hosted with ehostsource.com and have been pleased with them and their service for several years now. ($5.75 mo., 500MB, 50GB transfer, 100 email accts)
Hope that answers the question and gives others some good input.

I liked it alot, the 110 is a fearsome plane that is really mean... especially the front end!! :t Nice editing with it as well.
As far as convergence... don't worry, you can hit something 1k out with it. A 30mm will fix alot of problems with runners! :rofl

Well, nice job for a first-timer! I think you could've gotten a more exciting music selection, but for a first-timer. Great job coordinating the synchronization of the music and the scenes. Also, another thing. We saw footage of you taking off, shouldn't we see footage of you landing in victory? That would add a little more flavor to say that it was a "victorious run".
And one last thing, did you film in H2H or MA arenas?
Great job!

All footage was from the MA. As for the ending, if you know the music there's about another 2 1/2 minutes left and the ending is the same wind sound as in the beginning. Since it's still a work in progress I'll no doubt be changing scenes for the final version.
As for landing, I think that floating down in a chute will be the end scene although I do have some good footage of landing in a damaged plane.

ever use rapidshare? the free one has a download limit, but if you rar a film in 15,000,000 size files, they can all be downloaded in a day or two.
If you guys want I can check with a friend of mine for some free fileshareing sites that are virus free.

Outstanding.
Loved the track. Gotta do more, bud! They'll just get better, and I've watched this one several times. :aok
-
My main beef was that, for a music video, I couldn't hear the music! I had to turn my speakers way up. Other than that, and re-using the same nose-on closeup when firing one time too many, I think it was pretty good.

as long as you don't show any footage of me escorting genrl's bombers at 30k along with the rest of the RTC im fine with it :) (It's suppose to be a secret)hehehe. Never knew you were that good in a 110. Just thought you loved it.

How do I download it to my hard drive?

I wouldn't bother, a updated version is on the way along with a host that won't compress the file and that will give have the ability to DL the vid.
BTW, thanks for the input from all, it will help me polish this first part up.
Also, my CRS is to blame for naming it a Me 110 instead of Bf 110...getting old ya know

Look forward to the finished product.

Found a file hosting service, here's a downloadable version of this work in progress...
Right Click and save. 35mb file.

The audio is a bit low, fixing this for the final version.
