STALKER was at the E3 this year. Best bet is Q2 2007.

Reading the article, it looks like they are turning it into a "linear" adventure...what's next, a console port? :mad:

As I understood it the game would still be "free form", but with scripted parts to help move the storyline forward.

I used to play SS1 and SS2 with a VR Headset, both fully supported it. Looking Glass where always one of my favourite developers (Flight Unltd 1 & 2, Terranova also supported the VR Headset)
