How is it doing on the other side of the pond?
Its gone bananas here! Ive made a bundle today after a couple of days of sharp decline. The Oslo exchange is up over 6% :)
Oilprice for delivery prior to hurricane season has gone up and is mainly the driving force here, but also other sectors are up. Looks like europe in general is starting to recover after the last couple of days unrest.

I have some investments that took a beating, but they are long term so this correction won't hurt in the grand scheme of things. Time to BUY BUY BUY!!!

We have had a major correction that started on friday and went thru monday. the Index went from just over 400 to 350. Up to 378 again today and that did not hurt me at all. :D
Im all out now, because I belive that there will be more corrections here in the near future. I made just under 13000 USD profit from yesterday so im gonna take a breather. I belive its the first time i have ever managed to get in at the bottom and out at the (so far) peak.
-edit- index ended up 7,07%

i use a fire & forget financial weapon called the mutual fund.
it saves me the time of studying the stuff the big money insiders forgot about two months ago.

Use one myself called Primetrader. You can leave it to do what you want based on the parameters you set, but I prefer watching things unfold.

Copy and paste! LOL!
Dad has been my market advisor since I was 21. I figured since he retired at age 55, he knew what he was doing. :) He's guided me gently, but in the last 10 years, I've pretty much been on my own...I consider my portfolio well diversified however in the last 2 years with the Bush economy booming like it is, I've switched to about 70% of it in higher risk stocks and mutuals. When I make a huge profit, I move that profit into lower risk mutuals as to keep what the market has earned for me in case of a crash.
I might add, of that 50k increase, $6,400 what of my own investment from my paycheck.
