Hi guys many thanks for taking the time to reply to my cries for help.
I have taken on board all your sound advise and im in the process of thinking about what you have said (thinking hope i survive the experience lol).

look inside your pc  for an agp port

if you have one a decient AGP graphics card can be added (you'll pay at least 80 bucks for a good one )

Failing that, and failing having a PCI-express port, you can sink $40-$50 for a PCI video card. It's got to be better than the intel card. Not top of the line, by any means, but still better.

just got myself an ATi x1600 512Mb :)
