Just got my aparment in Westchester and will be leaving these corporate apartments my company has put me up in the for the last two months next week. The only cable that serves Westchester is ComCast and since I'm not a fan of DSL, I decided to stick with cable broadband and get ComCast's 8meg broadband package. Anyone that has ComCast, how's the service? I'm also getting digital cable and phone through them.

We just got a new digital cable receiver from them, it's great so far. It comes with on demand (with good movies & shows, not cheapy stuff), and the broadband works great. Only complaint is it was kind of hard to order pay-per-view, it hasn't worked through the remote, but we had to call, press '00' three times, and finally get a rep on the line.

I've had Comcast cable internet service here in Santa Cruz county for the past two years. Other than a bit of slowdown during peak weekend hours, usualy Sunday evening, I couldn't be happier.
Two months or so ago they started alerting by phone when there's an interuption in their service, they also call when the issue has been resolved.
I don't know how stable their infrastructure is down south but it seems very reliable up here in hippyville.
YMMV
