Thomas Autry of Atlanta suffered a cut on his hand and a bruise on his chest while defending himself from attack by five robbers, killing one and wounding another.  The other three have been taken into custody.

Atlanta police said Autry will not be charged in the slaying, since he was acting in self-defence.
